Workshop on Defense of Villages, Farms and Other Rural Assets against Wildfires: Guidelines for Rural Populations, Local Community and Municipality Leaders in the Balkan Region

The secud workshop in the frame of the project “Development of Guidelines for the Defense of Rural Populations, Settlements and other Assets Against Wildfires and Smoke Pollution”, was held at 13 May 2013 in Athens, Grece. Around twenty forest fire experts from SE Europe and Greece discussed the draft Guidelines for the Defense of Rural Populations, Settlements and Other Assets against Wildfires and Smoke Pollution.
The main topics of the workshop were:

2. Review of Part 2: Guidelines for Local Community and Population
3. Review of Part 3: Fire training for Local Community and Population
